در ادامه بازداشت غیر قانونی آقای میرحسین موسوی و خانم زهرا رهنورد که با قطع متناوب ارتباطات با خانواده در دوره هایی طولانی و نگرانی و انواع فشارها در سال گذشته همراه بوده‌است، این دو همراه سبز پس از چندین ماه بی‌خبری مطلق در آستانه سالگرد حبس خانگی با فرزندان خود گفتگوی تلفنی داشتند.

بنا به گزارش رسیده به کلمه آنچه در این گفت و گوی تلفنی حائز اهمیت بود آنکه در همان ابتدای مکالمه و پیش از احوالپرسی مرسوم که به‌طور طبیعی پس از چندین ماه بی‌خبری باید انجام می‌شد، مهندس موسوی با صدایی محکم و قاطع چندین بار تاکید کرده است که: «هیچ چیز عوض نشده و خطاب به فرزندان خود گفته است: دخترانم شما بدانید که من بر سر مواضع پیشین خود همچنان ایستاده ام. در ادامه ایشان گفته اند «ممکن است به دلایلی همین تنها امکان حداقلی چند ماه یکبار برای کسب خبر از وضعیت ما با شما را هم قطع کنند.» هنوز از دلایل احتمالی این تاکید، اطلاع دقیقی در دست نیست.

خانم رهنورد نیز که برخلاف ادعاهای کذب رسانه های امنیتی روحیه ای قوی داشت به فرزندان خبر داده است که: «به دلایلی که خودتان خواهید فهمید، ما مدتها امکان صحبت با یکدیگر نداشته‌ایم.

درپایان مکالمه تلفنی، این پدر و مادر دربند، فرزندان خود را به بردباری و استقامت بیشتر و توکل به خدا در شدائد و شکر بر پیمودن راه حق فرا خواندند.

بنا براین گزارش پس از این گفتگوی تلفنی مجددا فشارها بر دختران مهندس به شدت افزایش یافت. به نظر می رسد ممانعت غیر قانونی و غیرکتبی ماموران امنیتی از تدریس دختر موسوی در دانشگاه الزهرا، تهدید به بازداشت و انتقال به زندان و یا مکان نامعلوم و سایرتهدیدها و ایجاد مانع ها و مشکلات دیگر برای دختران اقوام پس از این تماس و گفت و گو بوده است. همچینین ایشان در پاسخ به سوال دختران در مورد شایعاتی مبنی بر خروج آنان از شهر و به طور مثال حضور آزادانه در شمال کشور که با مقاصد نگران کننده ای از سوی مراکز امنیتی پخش شده است به شدت آن را تکذیب و بر تدام زندانی بودن خود تاکید کردند.

از جمله موارد دیگر آزار و اذیت ماموران امنیتی این بوده است که آنان با گفتن این که حکم بازداشت دارند و به اندازه کافی علیه آنان سند جمع کرده‌اند، داماد و دختران را مورد تفتیش و بازجویی قرار دادند. در این بازجویی ها ضمن تکرار اتهامات بی پایه قبلی به مهندس موسوی و همسرشان گفته شد که این فشارهای جدید شغلی ، امنیتی و خانوادگی همگی به خاطر اصرار و پایداری مهندس میرحسین موسوی بر مواضع پیشین است که او علی‌رغم میل ماموران در همین آخرین تلفن به دخترانش انتقال داده است.

اریک والتز به خبرگزاری آسوشیتدپرس گفت که بهناز حکمتی موفق شده در سفری به ایران در زندان با فرزند ۲۸ ساله خود دیدار کند و هم‌اینک از این سفر باز گشته‌ است.

به گفته آقای والتز، سفر بهناز حکمتی «به خوبی انجام شده و وی در تعامل با مقام‌های ایرانی به مشکلی بر نخورده‌ است».

حکم اعدام امیر حکمتی از سوی وزارت خارجه ایالات متحده محکوم شده و سازمان عفو بین‌الملل نیز روند دادرسی او را «ناعادلانه» خوانده و گفته ‌است که «برای ما زمان این تصمیم و جوانب سیاسی آن جای سؤال دارد».

مقام‌های ایرانی تاکنون نسبت به تجدیدنظر در پرونده امیر میرزایی حکمتی واکنش مثبتی نشان نداده‌اند، اما اجازه دیدار مادر وی با او در زندان ممکن است نشانه‌ای از تحرکی جدید در این پرونده باشد.

در حالی که خانواده امیر حکمتی می‌گوید که وی برای دیدار با مادربزرگ‌هایش به ایران سفر کرده و اتهاماتی که علیه وی اعلام شده بی‌پایه ‌است، تلویزیون دولتی جمهوری اسلامی ویدئویی از آقای حکمتی پخش کرده که در آن وی گفته بود که در پی نفوذ به وزارت اطلاعات جمهوری اسلامی بوده‌ است.

خانواده آقای حکمتی در بیانیه‌ای تصریح کرده‌اند که «ادعاهای مطرح شده علیه امیر واهی است و معتقدیم که اعترافات دروغی او داوطلبانه نبوده و تحت شرایط سخت و اجباری بوده ‌است.»

امیر میرزایی حکمتی متولد سال ۱۹۸۳ در ایالت آریزونای آمریکا و مقیم ایالت میشیگان است و در گذشته در نیروی دریایی ایالات متحده مترجم بوده‌ است.

وزارت اطلاعات جمهوری اسلامی می‌گوید که مامورانش حکمتی را در پایگاه آمریکایی بگرام در افغانستان شناسایی کرده و او را زیر نظر داشته‌اند.

مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران اواخر آذرماه اعلام کردند که وی با «دولت متخاصم آمریکا و سرویس جاسوسی سیا علیه نظام مقدس جمهوری اسلامی ایران» همکاری کرده ‌است و او را بازداشت کرده‌اند.

The reason: Two-thirds of people with hepatitis C are in this age group, most unaware that a virus that takes a few decades to do its damage has festered since their younger days.
The issue has taken new urgency since two drugs hit the market last summer that promise to cure many more people than ever was possible. And research published Monday says testing millions of the middle-aged to find those who need the pricey treatment would be worth the cost, saving thousands of lives.
"One of every 33 baby boomers are living with hepatitis C infection," says Dr. John Ward, hepatitis chief at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "Most people will be surprised, because it's a silent epidemic."
Don't think you need to worry? Yes, sharing a needle while injecting illegal drugs is the biggest risk factor for becoming infected with this blood-borne virus. But before 1992, when widespread testing of the blood supply began, hepatitis C commonly was spread through blood transfusions. Plus, a one-time experiment with drugs way back in high school or college could have been enough.
"Asking someone about a risk that happened 20 to 30 years ago is a lot to ask," says Ward. Hence the quest for a new strategy.
About 3.2 million Americans are estimated to have chronic hepatitis C, but at least half of them may not know it. The virus, which affects 170 million people worldwide, can gradually scar the liver and lead to cirrhosis or liver cancer. It is a leading cause of liver transplants.
A CDC study published Monday analyzed a decade of death records and found an increase in death rates from hepatitis C. In fact, in 2007 there were 15,000 deaths related to hepatitis C, higher than previous estimates — and surpassing the nearly 13,000 deaths caused by the better-known AIDS virus.
Perhaps more surprising, three-fourths of the hepatitis deaths occurred in the middle-aged, people 45 to 64, researchers reported in Annals of Internal Medicine.
"Mortality will continue to grow for the next 10 to 15 years at least unless we do something different" to find and treat the silent sufferers, Ward says.

In the past, physicians assumed that eating 500 fewer calories per day would lead to about a pound of weight loss per week, said Kevin Hall, a researcher at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
But it turns out, this rule of thumb is wrong, Hall said, because it doesn't take into account that metabolism slows down during dieting. Thus, predictions that used this rule were overly optimistic, Hall said.
Hall and colleagues have developed a model that takes into account an individual's age, height, weight and physical activity level to better predict how much weight they might lose on a diet and exercise plan. Currently, the model is intended only for use by physicians and researchers scientists, Hall said.
Hall's research has also come up with a more realistic rule of thumb for weight loss. The new rule says you need to cut 10 calories per day from your diet for every pound you want to lose over a three-year period. So cutting 100 calories per day will lead to a 10-pound weight loss over three years, Hall said. Half of this weight loss would occur over the first year. To lose more weight after the three-year period, you'd have to cut more calories, Hall said.
The model may help policy makers understand the impact of public health measures on the obesity epidemic. For instance, one estimate of the effect of a 20 percent tax on sugar-sweetened beverages predicted that such a tax would lead to a 50 percent reduction in the number of overweight people in the United States in a five-year period. Hall 's new equation predicts about a 5 percent reduction in the percentage of overweight people in five years, Hall said.

به گزارش ایلنا، مهدی نجف پور، عضو هیات مدیره اتحادیه کارگران قراردادی و پیمانی کشور، با اشاره به تحقیقات میدانی که درباره سبد هزینه خانوار انجام شده است، اظهار داشت: تحقیقاتی که در در خصوص اقلام مورد نیاز جهت تنظیم سبد غذایی تامین کننده ی ۲۰۰۰ کیلو کالری انرژی در روز منطبق با الگوی غذایی بالغین و نیز تامین ۱۸۰۰ کیلو کالری انرژی در روز منطبق با الگوی غذایی کودکان ۳ تا ۶ سال انجام گرفته، حاکی از آن است که اقلام مذکور نسبت به مدت مشابه سال گذشته حدود ۶۰ درصد افزایش قیمت داشته که بخش عمده ی این افزایش ناشی از طرح هدفمند سازی یارانه ها بوده است .

او ادامه داد: تقریبا تمام یارانه‌ی نقدی دریافتی توسط خانوارهای کارگری صرف پرداخت افزایش هزینه‌های ناشی از حامل‌های انرژی (برق و گاز)می‌شود.

"We are talking about a very serious case of trans-frontier poaching, involving well-armed poachers with modern weapons from Sudan and Chad who are decimating this wildlife species to make quick money from the international ivory trade," said Gambo Haman, governor of Cameroon's North region.
Speaking on local radio, Haman said some of the poachers were on horseback and operated in cahoots with the local population, who were given free elephant meat and were glad to be rid of animals that damage their crops.
The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) said cross-border poaching was common during the dry season but the scale of the killings so far this year was unprecedented.
"This latest massacre is massive and has no comparison to those of the preceding years," the group said in a statement.
Citing a record number of large scale ivory seizures in 2011, TRAFFIC, a conservation group which tracks trends in wildlife trading, has warned of a surge in elephant poaching in Africa to meet Asian demand for tusks for use in jewelry and ornaments.
Underlining the clout of the poaching force, Haman said a group of 50 had killed six Chadian soldiers who tried to arrest them as they fled with the ivory.
"In January we counted 146 (elephant) carcasses and since the beginning of this month we've had close to 60 already. This may only be a tip of the iceberg as some may have been killed in parts of the park that we cannot access," Haman added.
Cameroon has dispatched a rapid reaction force to the zone but Haman said there were not enough troops to cover the remote park in Cameroon's far north.
IFAW said it was not clear how many elephants remained in Cameroon but a 2007 estimate but the figure a between 1,000 and 5,000.
TRAFFIC has said that the spike in poaching and illegal ivory trade in Africa was a direct consequence of China's investment drive into the continent.
